Over 10,000 spectators attended the ox race in Münsing, southern Germany, on Sunday 28th August.

This was the sixth annual ox race held in the town. Guests and competitors enjoyed glorious sunshine and temperatures upward of 30°C.
Not every bull felt the desire to complete the course, but the eventual winner was Bazi, ridden by local jockey Michael Pfatrisch.
The jockey told Stern.de that the secret was feeding him his favourite food, apples, directly from the hand.
