Giant cave with its own climate

in #giant6 years ago

This amazing place was discovered by a group of photographers in the province of Chongqing. The territory is a whole cave system, where there is not only a separate climate, but also clouds.

«Lost world»
Robbie Sean, a speleologist, says this discovery is not such a big deal. Something similar has been discovered before. But only in 2013 was a full study. The total area is 51,000 square meters. These cavities are so large that they formed their own climate, which is different from the outside. There's fog and clouds. In this huge cave is a source of water. There is also vegetation here. Experts among themselves call this place "the Lost world".

One of the strange facts can be considered is that the cave was not known even to the inhabitants of a small village located very close. Scientists have found the entrance to the system of caves, hidden from human eyes. This system, in fact, is a viscous of two caves. One of them is called San van Dong, and the second – er Wang Dong. People were amazed after they passed the entrance well and saw such huge cave cavities.

Caution can save a life.
But the joy of what he saw and the pleasure of studying should not distract specialists for a minute. In these places you need to be very careful. The fact is that when it rains outside the cave, the cavities are filled with stormy streams of water, so powerful that they easily knock people down.

What is the beauty of expeditions?
The scientific expedition consisted of 15 people and lasted about one month. This is what Robbie Sean says :" when new caves are discovered, people worry. Speleologists know that taking the first step into the unknown cave until now, they become the first people on Earth who got into the unknown world. Caves are a special place of secrets and ancient mysteries. In expeditions for me this is the most exciting moment. If we consider this case, then everyone, without exception, was struck by its own climate, fog and clouds. From all present nobody faced such phenomenon. About 250 meters from the ground, there were thick clouds in the cave. They were not able to be out of the cave. They are formed when moist air rises to the vaults of the cave, and when mixed with cold air flows turn into clouds."
