I was invited to a program by a friend and I saw how far people are willing to go just to care for others, people who are selfless so i asked my self why can't I do same?
The Amani Orphans And Widows Welfare Service is an organisation that is set out to assist those who are in need in whatever way they can, please take your time to read trhough the vision, mission moral values etc.
VISION
To provide food, clean water, clothing, shelters and education to orphans and widows who have been affected by civil war, political unrest, famine, destructions and extreme abject poverty in South Sudan Villages, Bomas, Payams and Counties.
MISSION
To assist orphans and widows to access basic humanitarian needs such as food, clothing, education, shelters and water.
To provide vocational training, health care and psychological counselling to post-traumatic stress disorders and social deprivation, giving support to those whose lives have been traumatized through hunger, lack of medical assistance, war and political unrest.

PURPOSES/OBJECTIVES
To ensure that the basic needs such as food, water, education, healthcare and shelter are accessible to the orphans and widows dwelling in villages, Bomas, Payams and surrounding immediate counties.
To provide psychological support, counselling and social support to reduce acute trauma, post-traumatic stress disorders, anxieties and depression among the orphans and widows in their respective villages.
To improve the living standards and provide them with necessary facilities to acquire the skills, knowledge and abilities to start new livelihoods in their villages and around the nation.
To provide and increase schooling equipment which will be used for the provision of formal education and vocational training.
To reduce ignorance and illiteracy among the orphans and widows who lack the knowledge of the importance of education in the modern world due to lack of civilization.
AMANI ORPHANS AND WIDOWS WELFARE SERVICE INCORPORATED is a catalyst for Hope and Prosperity.
AREAS OF PRIORITY:
~ BASIC NEEDS: food, water, clothing and shelters.
~ EDUCATION: primary, secondary and higher education.
~ HEALTH CARE: malaria, typhoid, brucellosis, STDS, skin diseases.
~ VOCATIONAL TRAINING: tailoring, computer training, carpentry, masonry, car mechanics, electrics, art and craft, horticulture and agriculture.
~ MENTAL HEALTH: depression, anxieties, acute trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder, psychosis, bipolar and schizophrenia.
~ PSYCHOLOGICAL SUPPORT: counselling and psycho-social support.
PRIORITIES OF SOCIAL WELFARE ASSISTANCE:
~ CATEGORY ONE: The most vulnerable orphans who have lost both parents.
~ CATEGORY TWO: Widows with children from ages birth to 12 years old.
~ CATEGORY THREE: Widows with children between 13 and 18 years old.
~ CATEGORY FOUR: Widows with children over 19 years old are eligible for skills training, development and education. They are eligible for social assistance if the family is proven to be living in extreme abject poverty and adult children are unable to support themselves or their families.
~ CATEGORY FIVE: Elderly widows who are living under extreme abject poverty and have no children or family to look after them possibly due to death or abandonment are eligible for social welfare assistance.
~ CATEGORY SIX: Widows with adult orphans over 26 years old are not eligible for social welfare assistance, education assistance or counselling support. Adult orphans are eligible for scholarship to higher institutions if proven to be living in extreme abject poverty.
MONITORING AND EVALUATION
AMANI ORPHANS AND WIDOWS WELFARE SERVICE INCORPORATED will be monitored and evaluated at the constant intervals of one month to ensure all areas are being implemented according to the stated objectives.
The monitoring exercise and evaluation will be done by the AMANI ORPHANS AND WIDOWS WELFARE SERVICE INCORPORATED to detect any corruption, misappropriation of funds, non-acceptable behavior during the implementation period and onward.
All donations will be receipted with the full disclosure of AMANI ORPHANS AND WIDOWS bank accounts on request.
Monthly financial reports will be made available on request accounting for all funding received and monies spent to achieve the goals of AMANI ORPHANS AND WIDOWS WELFARE SERVICE INCORPORATED.
