Welcome to HIVE. HIVE is a tough place for beginners. The site HiveBlocks.com shows all of your raw transactions on the blockchain:

You need HIVE POWER for your account to work. It says you have no HP. I will delegate 10HP to your account for a few weeks.
The whole system was built with the assumption that new users would buy HP.
The rewards pool comes from interest on your HIVE POWER. The upvote calculator shows value of an upvote with a given amount of HP. Type in 10 . The upvote value of the 10 HP I gave you is worth $0.0001 . Your upvote is worth 1/100th of a penny.
Each upvote consumes 2% of your voting power. It regenerates at 20% a day. You get 10 upvotes a day. Your ten upvotes are worth a tenth of a penny.
Lets say you bought $250 in HIVE POWER. Your upvote would be worth a penny. 10 upvotes would be worth a dime. Over a year, your upvotes would be worth $36.50. The curator gets half of the reward and the creator the other half. So, you would get $18.25 for curation ... which is a decent interest on a $250 investment.
There is one more catch. The system doesn't give payouts on posts with less than $0.02 in upvotes. This lost money is called STEEM DUST.
Part of your payout will include HBD. I suggest transferring that HBD to the account @dustsweeper. Dusty will use the money to upvote posts with less than $0.02; So you will get your HBD back plus the dust that you would have lost on the account.
Have a great day. The delegation should appear shortly which will give you more resources for posting.
Thanks a lot. I am finding it harder to even comment as it takes the power for that I assume.
I'll pass on the initial HBD payouts to dust account once I reach enough that amount.
How do you recommend navigating in such condition? Like how to make the most of your initial delegation?
How can I reach more people of my niche?
Your guidance is much appreciated.
