The ignore from @dswigle turns out to be some kind of glitch or bug (2022.02.23)

in #glitch4 years ago

I posted in the morning that she ignored me, but she wrote this comment to me since then, so she still see my comments, and she also does not know what actually happened.

Can anyone explain what an "ignore" or "mute" actually does on the blockchain level, and how it is possible to remove the "ignore" or "mute"?

Thank you.

I believe (I might be wrong) that the Ignore button just doesn't notify you if the person interacts with your posts (ie, you don't get a notification) but the Mute button means that you literally can't see anything from that person, even if they directly reply to your posts or comments. You'll never know if they did.

Thank you for the reply. I hope that I have not ignored/muted anyone. I do not know what is happening. Some kind of weird bug/glitch.

I'm not sure if you're using PeakD.com, but there is a way to see who you have muted there:

or

Mine looks like this:

Thank you. I checked it. @georgejohnson is currently on my mute list. But he left the Steem/Hive blockchain in 2017, so this probably happened years ago.
