For those unfamiliar with the topic, I recommend checking out the awesome tutorial post about the game first.
I’m here to participate in the Top 3 Player Contest by @emrebeyler. Huge thanks to him for this initiative – it’s great to see players supporting the community through such activities!
Now, let’s get to the point. What should be added to the game in the next update?
🔥Essential Changes
1. Upper Panel with Stash Display
I’d really like to see how full my stash is during attacks.
We only get 4 attacks every 4 hours, so wasting them is not an option.
Right now, we have to scroll up to check stash capacity, losing time – and in that moment, we could get attacked.
Solution: Add a stash indicator in the upper panel
2 . Show the Player’s Rank!
Currently, to see your rank, you have to search for your name manually in the player list.
This is inconvenient and an easy fix.
Solution: Display the rank permanently on the main screen.
3 . Missing Item Slot Display
Like many players, I have more than one accounts. I personally use it to transfer unnecessary items and test strategies.
The problem:
- I constantly have to open my inventory and remember 15+ different item names.
- I might unequip an item and forget about it.
Solution:
- Display missing slots and item names.
- Clicking an empty slot should immediately open the correct category of items.

4 . View Ori Cost for Burning Equipped Items
Many people have asked for this to be done a long time ago, but I just can't help but mention it.
Make life easier, don't make me take something off my equipment every time to find out 😆
You can do it like this, for example (when you hover over the light, information will pop up):
5 . Stat Sorting During Attacks
Yes, I know that the game developers have already written that they would not like to do this, and that it greatly simplifies the game, so they did not want to add it
But the problem is that bots have already learned to do this. Several times, players posted screenshots in the general chat, where you could see the auto-attack function on the account, and it is obvious that they are configured for certain stats in order to get as many denars as possible when attacking.
So why not do this for regular players?😉
6. Sorting Market Items by Price
With the huge number of items on the market, this is now a must-have feature.
The problem:
- Many items have outdated, unrealistic prices.
- Players set prices long ago and never update them, cluttering the market.
Solution:
- Sorting items by price for better visibility.
7 . Separate Activity Tracking Window
A very useful feature for regular players.
For example, a tab showing:
- Attack history.
- Purchase & transaction history.
- Resource earnings.
🚀 Additional Suggestions
1. In-Game Contests
The game needs more variety and excitement.
Some ideas:
- Attack Contest – All players get +50 Attack and +50 Army Tactics for 3 days.
- Mining Contest – All players get +50 Defense and +50 Army Speed for 3 days.
This will motivate players to adapt and improve in different areas.
2 . Visual Improvements
I would really like to add more animations. Right now the game looks like a very large table with looped information.
I suggest adding something like this to the icons:
This can also be used as a competition for players who are good at creating designs) And I'm sure there are some of them here.
With all this, you can change the backgrounds with different themes for different game events, make great animations for attacks. I think this is a very cool idea.
3 . More Variety in Chests & Items

Solution:
Add specialized chests, such as:
- Vault upgrade chests.
- Attacks Cooldown reduction chests.
- Claim percentage boost chests.
4. Item Crafting & Contracts
A more engaging crafting system would be great, instead of just exchanging 5 commons for 1 uncommon.
Example:
- Choose up to 5 items.
- The game calculates their value in Ori.
- You can set a risk level from 100% (safe) to 1% (high risk, but huge reward).
Example trade:
- A Legendary item (0.24 Ori) → 50% chance to upgrade to Mythical.
- 1% chance to upgrade to Divine, but if it fails – the item is lost.
This will revitalize the in-game economy!
5 . Make Each Account Unique
Right now, If the denar rate falls very low, new players can quickly surpass veterans just by entering the game at a lower currency rate.
Solution:
Introduce account levels based on activity.
Add achievements, such as:
- "Win 100 attacks".
- "Successfully intercept 50 raids".
Rewards could include free chests. 🧰
This encourages active players while keeping the game fair for long-time users.
🔥 What I Like About Crownrend 🔥
✅ Developer Responsiveness
I appreciate that the team actively listens to players. This isn’t my first Web3 game, and I can say that developers like this are hard to find. I just hope they remain responsible throughout the entire lifespan of the project.
⚔️ Attack System
The game’s balance is actually quite good. The mechanics are simple but effective, allowing players to:
🔹 Optimize attacks for maximum efficiency.
🔹 Build a solid defense to minimize losses or even become an unprofitable target for attackers.
🎁 Chests, chests, and more chests!
Opening chests is pure excitement! Even a single well-upgraded item can boost your ranking significantly. The thrill of pulling a rare item is amazing. However, I’d love to see more variety in both items and chests.
🎮 Overall Gameplay
There’s still a lot of room for improvement to ensure stable and engaging gameplay. But one thing’s for sure—the game has hooked me with its competitive nature, the thrill of climbing the ranks, and collecting the best items.
⚠️ What I Don’t Like ⚠️
📉 In-Game Currency Fluctuations
It’s frustrating that the developers openly say they don’t care about the currency’s value. I’m not here to make millions, but the unstable exchange rate makes it hard to plan purchases.
🔹 A market item that costs 50 HIVE today might be 2-3 times cheaper in just a few days.
🔹 This makes me hesitant to buy anything, while other players who wait can grab better deals and overtake me in the rankings.
I really wish the developers would focus more on attracting new players and stabilizing the in-game economy.
⏳ Slow Updates
Many games suffer from slow updates, and I hope this one doesn’t fall into the same trap. Monotony can kill engagement, and without fresh content, the game could turn into:
🔁 Log in → do 4 attacks → log out.
The game needs consistent activities to keep players engaged.
⚔️ Lack of Strategic Diversity
Right now, there are only two main strategies:
1️⃣ Attack + crit + minimal defense + mining.
2️⃣ Medium defense + high army speed + strong mining.
The problem is that army speed is becoming too dominant, forcing players to keep upgrading tactics just to stay competitive. I’d love to see more viable strategies, possibly through events and competitions.
📢 Lack of Marketing & Promotion
99% of Web3 games seem to have no clue about marketing. Why?
🔹 Where’s the active Twitter presence?
🔹 Where’s the YouTube channel with exciting update videos?
🔹 Why aren’t they partnering with YouTube influencers who cover Web3 games?
This could be done almost for free, yet no one even tries. I’d love to hear the developers’ thoughts on this.
Crownrend has great potential, but its future depends entirely on the developers’ dedication and vision. If they’re serious about growing the project, this game could have a bright future.
