In a prior post the name Mary was perhaps linked to Yemaya. Interestingly, there is another Goddess with a similar name: Mari or Mari Urraca, Anbotoko Mari, and Murumendiko Dama. There are many aspects of Mari that will sound familiar, especially the connection with a mountain, a cave, snake-human hybrids, and dragons.
