Hours ago, an interesting community-driven event started. Some streamers challenged themselves on who could get to Mythic first - using a brand new account and only Core and Welcome Set cards.
New player experience
All of the competitors are well-established Mythic players who regularly top the Weekend Ranked event leaderboard. They include:
- FreeDan
- Unchained
- bonkthatbutt
- cautionfun
- CopperPitch
- Ducky
They started with nothing but the Welcome Set and are allowed to tune their decks with core cards that are Common or Rare only. Also, they have to earn their cards by leveling up. This makes it way more interesting, because all of them will get lots of different cards which may highly affect the decks they are playing.
Within 12 hours, they already grinded their way up to the Shadow/Gold ranks! You can watch the main stream, commented by GGian here:
