Did you know that Suriname is one of the few countries that has a Synagogue next to a Mosque.

As a former colony, different ethnicities and religions have lived together since the times of slavery and contract workers. Actually, we have 2 official muslim National Holidays and never had issues with extremists.

Definitely, it just takes time. Unfortunately sometimes more than a lifetime's worth. If we would think about the world from a perspective that goes beyond our own life, it would be a lot more peaceful :)

Most men think about just themselves, and their own life. Some men expand that to their families, and a few closer friends. Fewer think about the long scheme of things, not just their own children, but their children's children, and their children. The world needs more people who think about the future, not just their own, but everyone's.
