The shimmering Sun in Tibang

The shimmering sun reflects the surface of the water in the Tibang area pond, Banda Aceh.

Tibang is an area located east of downtown Banda Aceh, and directly adjacent to Aceh Besar Regency.

This area is known to most of its citizens who rely on living from marine products and ponds that found many crabs, fish, shrimp, and oyster shells.

I dont know much about oysters. If you are interested can see this Wikipedia.

That afternoon, Thursday, October 19, 2017, I came to photograph the activities of people looking for oysters, which they will sell for their daily needs and also process them into their home menu.

The wind blows, invites mangrove trees to dance. Indeed mangrove trees are an inseparable part of coastal areas.

Every afternoon, residents look for oysters attached to rocks and rubber tires in former vehicles. Actually they deliberately installed rubber tires so that shells landed on the tires.

Their income is relatively small, they usually sell the price is not up to 1 dollar usd for 1 small can.

In addition Tibang area, oyster sea shell species are also found in Alue Naga area, and several other coastal areas in downtown Banda Aceh.
