Sunset on my Street

Most evenings I try to go for a swim at sunset. Walking back from the beach the last of the sun's rays were shining down my street.

The council in my area has splashed out and put new street lamps down my road, giving it a slight historical look.

It's just a pity that they have to put spikes three quarters up the lamp post to stop people nicking the lamp.

or even the big round bulb supplied to light up the street.

All photos were taken with my Samsung J7 mobile phone.
