Today in the realm of visual things and media is logo designing and a simple flyer. I really don’t have any interest in graphic design, and even less skills on that deparment, but these are part of my studies so I have to do at least the bare minimum if I wanna pass.
I appreciate everything that is visually pleasing, but creating something like that from scratch is not something I can do. It’s extremely frustrating to not be good at something, and I feel like throwing my laptop out the window because Illustrator and Indesign are by far the two shittiest programs I have ever used. So I actually made the drafts in a free program called Canva, and once the design is approved, I’ll try to figure out how to make it properly in Indesign.
At least I have an actual client that needs these, so I’m not just doing it for a school assigment. I hate wasting my time on some imaginary projects that will just be binned.

I will! Because it’s what is needed for this company. But yeah totally agree it’s bullshit that every major company has changed their logo to super simplified version. I’ve seen this mostly on high fashion brands where their lettering is basically all the same now 🤦🏼♀️
