Its like a normal wallet if you hold bitshares, and the rest are crypto backed by bitshares. Its not the safest, but is as far as you can get. And it is working dam good for the moment.

Currently the Bitshares gateway for Gridcoin is broken and has been for a while. Aside from the gateway issue, the markets themselves can have black swan events, which is something unforeseen. I wouldn't consider it working well at all, actually. The Bitshares wallet requires you to trust it more than the Gridcoin wallet will when you are using it to directly send coins to another wallet on the Gridcoin network.

Thats true. But when you are using bitshares, its the same as any regular wallet.
