Yes, you're right, I haven't thought it over. I have made some changes in my post.
My post was inspired by problems some subreddits (i.e. Stellar, Neo) that recently became very popular do encounter. It's better to take some steps before it's out of control. One of several posts on r/stellar regarding price discussions.
As I see, r/NEO recently banned such posts from the main board and moved them into daily sticky discussion and it looks much better now.
