Official Gridcoin Discord Server

All proceeds collected from this post will go directly into the faucet built into the Gridcoin Discord wallet bot.

What is the Gridcoin Discord Wallet Bot and who created it?

The Gridcoin Discord Wallet Bot is a Discord bot that's in the official Gridcoin Discord Server. It's created and maintained by @delta1512. The bot allows you to make a quick and easy Gridcoin address that can be used conveniently straight from Discord. The bot also allows you to give other users straight from the chat, furthermore the bot also allows donating to predefined addresses for example the faucets in gridcoinstats and Gridcoin Switzerland. The bot has a built in faucet and it also has the ability to rain GRC onto online users.

Also due to suggestions on my previous post, I will aim to do a post once every fortnight. And the rewards for the post will instead go with 90% to the faucet and 10% to rain instead of making 2 separate posts also thanks to suggestions from my previous post.

You can directly donate to the inbuilt faucet and rain feature through the following addresses:

Unfortunate, the discord faucet is dry... why?

There are over 200 users who have an account for the bot, it is used quite frequently, this is in addition to the low faucet refresh times. I plan on taking measures to reduce the impact upon the next code update.

Nonetheless as far as I know, my bot awards the most Gridcoin out of any known public (non-researcher) faucet.

Yes, it's really cool! I was just ironic when asking why :-)

Unfortunately you are probably right that some measures may be necessary to reduce the ability to draw from the faucet, with high payouts and low refresh it may be next to impossible to keep things funded with the popularity growing as it is, although I hope you can keep it going and supporting the community

Thanks @nathanielcwm and anyone who donates/upvotes/promotes, it's well appreciated by me and most importantly the users that depend on the faucet. You can find more information about the bot on the official announcement and on my many other steemit posts.

Happy crunching everyone!
