Growth idea for steemit through A Steemit In Nigeria (S.I.N.) conference and party annually (in response to the message on steem chat from @andrarchy)

S.I.N. .jpg

The problem

Steemit's population is still below 500,000 with less than 3% of the total population from Nigeria.
Nigeria with a large market of over 182.2 million people as at 2015 according to this, out of which about 15% are unemployed.
The percentage pegs about 14 million people or more as unemployed.

Currently there is a fluctuation in the price of steem and SBD. With the fluctuating price of steem and SBD, an influx of people who actively trade and invest in steem could help boost the price of steem, according to a chat I had with @pfunk on steemit.chat

The solution

With the following highlighted problems, the following solutions become necessary.

  • An annual Steemit In Nigeria conference becomes necessary to hijack and possibly monopolize the influence of steemit and steem in the country ranked as the 7th globally in terms of internet usage

  • The event will be hosted for free for participants with the support of steemit and the organizers.

  • Mass awareness campaigns will be done about steem and steemit to bring in more users and traders who might be unable to attend the event.

  • Creation of employment through blogging activities on steemit, which in turn generates traffic.

  • Proper steps will be taken for the mass adoption of steem and steemit in Nigeria.

  • New members will be given a lecture on the basics of steemit to make integration into the system easier.

How will you prove the project was a success?

  • Initial registration of about 500-2,000 participants from Nigeria, within the first two weeks will be considered a success.

  • Subsequent registration of about 2,000-10,000 within the next three months of the event, will be considered a success.

  • Further mass adoption of steemit to a population volume of 10,000-100,000 in seven months will be considered a success.
If these are fulfilled, then the project will be considered a success.

Corrections, advice and suggestions are warmly welcomed.
Lots of love from @ehiboss

hello

On nairaland, it is over 800,000...thanks for the support

This is a great idea! I already see so many posts from all over the world with beautiful pictures of the authors home town and traditional crafts and food. I love to read these kind of posts. I hope that many Nigerians will sign up on steemit.

it's really a nice idea, we have a high rate of unemployment and theft at this side of the world. May God help us.

Thank you

you are welcome

Thanks for helping out your fellow brother. I personally have introduced over 40 people to this platform in less than two months and I don't see the need to say it out. The community will feel the impact over time. I also roll with kus-knee, fisteganos and a host of other veteran Nigerian, African and lots of top steemians, I see them as amazing people. Perhaps you could stay tuned to my blog this sunday and read my interview with good-karma (the creator of the e steem app most steemians use), and redhens, a friend of mine on steemit....Also try not to miss out on other top notch steemians I have lined up for interviews. I would be delighted to have you over at y blog. Thank you

check out how I resteemed his post and didnt give up on him and i KEPT sharing his posst and upvoting him

So I checked out your blog , turns out in the last 14 days, you have only resteemed about 4 people and only one of the names you mentioned above was listed just once, please clarify how that happened?

hello, you're the first person i'll see on here with a kinda arrogant feel to helping people out. You make it sound like you were singularly responsible for the success of the post in question. Yeah cool you resteemed it but you definitely weren't the only one to do that. And you story of not giving up on him... well it sounds so much like fiction.

Going through your page, I'll like to point out that there's no "hunger" that we need help ending over here so please be done with your stereotypes. If you want to assist people as they navigate the steemit waters, do so quietly like hundreds of others who make far greater impacts than you have.

Also, @kus-knee is not African and does not stay in "Africa". And I stay in NIGERIA and not Africa.

Thanks

Thank you for enlightening him. Why will he help someone and embarrass the person openly?

Loool, easy on him sir, I'm sure he didn't mean much harm

Interesting, this is the second Nigerian post I'm seeing today , I think first things first is to harmonize the community within steemit first, we need to know ourselves more and form like a support mechanism for eachother. There is a Whatsapp group put together by @maryfavour I hope that takes us a long way.
Steemit has huge potentials in Nigeria. We can make this work guys !!

I believe it's a dream come true, all it needed is action, even steemers in different states can also form a publicity forum to grow steemit in their states.

Thanks a lot @ehiboss

Thanks for the addition...perhaps I will find a way to include it in the second phase of the post

I wish you lots of success with this. I'm sure a lot of people in Nigeria can benefit from the opportunities Steemit offers.

Thank you @steevc.

I really love this idea and it was this idea that birthed my initiation into steemit community and am willing to be a steem convert. Also, I am a proud member of @360leadent spearhead by @ehiboss. We're here to stay and proclaim the gospel of steemit community. Give us a chance!

Yeah, I believe its tie we use the idea, talent, gift, ability and potential in you to make it and fulfill destiny.... Nigeria isn't helping, help yourself please.....

Exactly bro, thank you

Yeah that's grate for the future !!!

Congratulations @ehiboss
You took 10 place in my Top 100 of posts
