I'll never understand why some cards have such engrained price memory. So many trials that see very little play still demand like good money and have a huge population plus unopened chests (one day... one day). In the mean time stuff like Morax which has 1/10th the population and is used in one of if not the best deck in the game is the same price.I think GUs marketplace is like a working case study in how all the supply and demand economists are just wrong. It is fascinating, for sure. FOMO is high for me right now, because it does feel like people are sleeping on the current landscape instead of moving on the low price options. The meta is evolving quickly, so what feels imba right now might just not have had counters established. The Guardian/Pets are so fascinating. This is scarcity like we've never seen combined with truly useful cards. I risked big and bought 250 Kaori and 50 Amber before the set was locked. They were dirt cheap, by my estimation. Prices are rising, but they still seem cheap.
