I had a lot of mure friends when i was growing up, but i never learned sign language. Shame on me. Those bastards were pretty clever, though. They found ways to make themselves understood. You could say they almost talked.

So true!!! Indeed. In my school they were the bullies not us. Hahaha! There was one time I asked one girl what time it was, they all laughed at me. That's how I decided I wanna learn sign. Hahahaha! So I can talk to them in their language. Thanks, @hlezama.
Hahaha. Good one. I remember a mute guy starred in the most brutal fist fight i witnessed as a kid. He destroyed an impertinent drunk guy who was sure he could ridiculed the deaf-mute. I still remember the sound of the punches one block away. Maybe it helps to be deaf, you can't hear how hard you're punching the enemy.
That makes sense for our government.
