Few hours after activating my steem account, I already upvoted around a hundred of posts. I am still asking myself, is it just like this? Because upvoting someones post is the easiest and the simpliest thing to do. Quite annoying because you need to wait for 3 seconds to avoid flood upvotes. Even those blogs I didn't even read the title received an easy upvote. My question remains. Is it just like this?
Does it require everyone to be an instant writer/blogger? Is this the same with posting your "what comes into your mind" just like in facebook? But looking at the trending blogs, it is very different. technical terms, serious businesses, money making techniques, much more different from kiddie post on FB. I believe a lot of steemers out there shares me with my situation. I don't know what to post. Which topic will attract upvoters and resteemers(im still not used to the terms of steem). Even if i write a certain topic, will it make sense? Now, I will give it a shot!
Steps to start your steemit life:
- Prioritize making a senseful story instead of earning money. This makes you out of the illusion of turning your both eyes into a dollar sign and daydream.
- Always remind yourself that you always have some stories to share to the whole world. maybe about your life, your experiences, your interest not to promote yourself but to atleast have a little impact to humanity. Believe that you are a unique person and no one can replace you to do your part to the human kind.
- Create your title. Anything that you can tell a lot of things about. Anything of your interest makes you easy to relate when there is someone comments done into your story.
- Finish your story. Maybe at the middle, you might say, what more should I say? Im out of words. It is so boring. no! remember. It is your first time to do it. All you have to do is to complete it. Next time it will surely be better.
- Be proud of your work. No one appreciates it more than you.
Remember:
you might struggle at first and then succeed the next day but you will never succeed if you start with a negative mindset.
