Quietly playing guitar - Melbourne to Townsville.

I can now claim membership to the exclusive Mile High Guitarist Club.

The guitar is an Anygig Travel Electric Guitar which is small enough, even in its case, to travel as carry on luggage when flying.

Its being played accousticly in the shot. I have a small USB rechargeable headphone amp, but the photo was taken before I plugged that in.

The pilot. (Not really)

Any other guitarists here also in the club?

I've never played on a plane, but I have taken a ukulele in hand luggage a couple of times. A guy I knew did play his travel guitar on a plane and I think it may even have been in business class. Have to be careful about annoying fellow passengers :)

General noise on the plane was loud enough to cover the unamplified guitar. I don't think anyone else really noticed me.
I plugged my headphone amp in just after the photo was taken so for me it was almost as loud as a 100w Marshall stack.

Could bring a new flavour to 'air rage' if someone didn't like it :)

I remember reading that Steve Morse used to be a commercial pilot and would keep a guitar on the plane to practice.
