It's shameful that those officers didn't try to save the lives of those kids. I don't know how they'll be able to live with themselves after this. The first deputy is under police protection at his request following his resignation.

I was wondering the same thing. CNN should redo its town hall. Sheriff Israel had the gall to grandstand and criticize Dana Loesch even though he was fully aware of his department's cowardice. He should resign immediately but I'm not holding my breath.
