I have no difficulty agreeing with all that you say, but you have not really outlined any alternative steps we might take to alter the current problem. Your suggestions are generalised when I was looking for specific steps. If the algorithm needs to change, how is that facilitated? You may have no answers, I certainly don't at this stage. I am not in the position to solve this issue. I'm just saying that the source of the problem is not Haejin, he is just the result, the source is much higher. Those who need to solve Haejin problem will not do anything until they are questioned. Mark Zuckerberg doesn't wont to solve anything of users problems, as long it's not the threat to the Facebook itself, as long he gets his money. Same issue here. The pressure on main players must be applied, but I know, people will never do that because they always idealize authority figures. The algorithm can be changed in multiple ways, but those who can do it hold the power, they will never do it unless they are forced. Big money is at the stake.
