Haejin, a very popular analyst on Steemit, would seemingly have a unique access to mathematical patterns in cryptocurrency markets.
He speaks about these patterns as if they are true and real.
Interesting.
Can human language capture mathematical truths?
Or, is formal logic and mathematics the true language to describe these truths? (Is truth possible with human language?)
In my view, we should be careful when speaking about patterns in cryptocurrency markets as if they were true and real.
Mathematics is filled with ambiguity and contradiction. This is why it is so creative! The real numbers are ideas.
Let's be creative and adopt a science of wonder as opposed to a science of certainty. Here is a good read for you on this topic fellow steemians :

Mathematics is pure and true and when done correctly holds no contradictions. An analysis of a market though is not true mathematics for many reasons, most importantly is mathematical patterns are contrived from negative infinity to the present and since Haejin is super limited in his time frame, it isn't... I think you get my point. Markets are unpredictable.
