We all want thick and long hair. It may not always be possible to maintain good hair without having treatment. In recent years, hair extension is getting popular because it transforms the overall look of an individual. Long and beautiful hair is like having a dream come true. And it is required to work on it to have it.

You may not grow them at all, but you can add some to get a temporary solution. There are pros and cons of having hair extension to your hair. This article is going to discuss it.

If you prefer having a temporary solution, you can go for clipping into your natural hair. The pros of having this kind of extension are: it is versatile, and you can put the clips in and out when and how you want to. You can change the length and hair color at any time.

There is no fixed issue. You don’t have to go to a salon for the treatment or taking it away. You can easily afford the extension. Also, you will have no damage to your hair for such a kind of extension.

The cons of having hair clipping are: The hairs on the clips are made with poorer quality synthetic hair. You cannot wear them for a longer period, and you have to remove them while sleeping. As they do not require much maintenance, they can last for a few months.

Permanent hair extensions are one of the most popular types. The pros of having this kind of extension are: they last up to six months if taken care of properly. There is no fixed hair type to be suitable for this extension, but you can apply this with coarse or thick hair. This hair extension matches easily with the natural hair type. And you will get good quality artificial hair.

The cons of having a permanent hair extension are: it will take a longer period to fulfill the application. You have to depend on six to eight hours in a row to have extended coverage.

Also, if you don’t consult an experienced hairdresser to do the extension, you may have frequent hair damage and breakage after applying.

The heat used to extend the hair may damage hair more. It is a comparatively expensive way to extend your hair. You can also have some reactions after having the extension such as itching.
