Halloween is not really my thing as it didn't even exist in my country when I was a kid, but I felt in the mood for a little horror story, so I'm just gonna dump it on you... and @calluna, of course, because why not?

Halloween is an American adaption (IMPROVEMENT I say ;>) of a mainly Celtic tradition; but since it does conform to a fairly basic human impulse( the fascination with our final destination), it has started to take root around the world.
