Star Chosen Spaceship Exploration over the Quiet Waters is a quick sketch experiment I created depicting some of the spacecraft in Star Chosen. As a sci-fi novel I have been writing off and on for 20 years with over 100 illustrations, Star Chosen has a controversial and colorful view of technology and this is just one example of that. In this artwork, the drawings were made on top of a video I shot of the thin stream of water that I landscaped through the back of our yard. It's a place we call "The Quiet Waters," based on a line from Psalm 23: "He leads me beside the quiet waters."
