Share Our World: Camping in the Tetons

in #haveyoubeenhere3 years ago (edited)

In July I spent a couple of days with some close family friends camping in the Tetons in the Jenny Lake Camp ground.

In the previous posts I have showed hikes and lakes and fun adventures in the Tetons. This post is about our time at the camp ground. I am sad that I don't have a picture of us playing cards as I LOVE playing cards.

Look at that view! the Tetons from our campsite.

Here is a map of the camp ground and we are #45

The campsite is $38 per night
There are 49 individual tent campsites and 10 sites for hikers and bicyclists. (1)

One night we grilled pizzas over the fire. Yummy!

When we got home from the lake we played with silhouettes

Megan enjoying nature and me capturing it!

Hope you like this quick look at our time camping. I didn't grow up camping and don't do it very often. I do love being outdoors so it was really great.

There is nothing I would love more than spending a few days at a place like this camping with nature. It's a spectacular place and I'm glad you had an enjoyable stay there ❤️

Hi Trang. Now you have a great place to put on your list of places to go if and when you come to the US. :)

Wow, a beautiful and movie-like view. I loved the place without even having been there. The photos with Megan turned out great too, must have been fun camping in the Tetons.

I would love to have a tent for hiking, I've only done it once to a beach back home, and it was a wonderful experience.

Thanks for sharing your experience there.

Best regards.

So glad you enjoyed it! Hope you get to go camping again soon.

This looks really awesome. My wife and I really enjoy our camping trips. We started in a tent and have since worked our way up to a nice travel trailer. We rarely spend time in it, but when we need to it is nice and comfy! We still have two more trips planned this fall, I am looking forward to them.

hi @bozz.sports that is great that you are able to go camping. Where are your upcoming trips to?

We are heading to Cadillac, MI and North Higgins Lake, MI in October. It might be a little chilly but that just gives us a good reason to have a roaring fire all weekend!

That is great. I would like to explore Michigan someday.

It is a beautiful state! Especially along all of the coastlines.

really beautiful!

Thank you very much

Awsome pics and very beautiful place!!!

Lovely post, I actually love nature but have never gone camping before, love to go some day. Megan is really cute I'm guessing she got that from you.

Thanks. I hope you get to go camping too.
