The Hawai‘i Department of Health’s State Laboratories Division just reported that the Delta variant is spreading in Hawaii. One key point is that none of the people that were infected were hospitalized.
The other key point was that one person that was infected was fully vaccinated.
Three of the people infected traveled from the continental US.
We have all been vaccinated.
The Governor and the Lt. Governor disagreeing on whether to open up travel. The Lt. Governor wants the Governor to open up travel for people that were vaccinated on July 1 but the Governor has not committed to this at this point.
