- It's a positive buy pressure on HIVE (it's almost (or more?) the same amount that STINC was selling monthly on steem)
- Daily budget is tight right now and it might be helpful to have a large fund at hand for accelerating Hive development in some areas. The HIVE sitting in the hive.fund is converting slowly to HBD but there is a high possibility of burning some portion of it in the future hardforks. Some witnesses already discussed that.
