The HBIT log on Discord shows that a number of Hivebits miners are trying to use the !hivebits command over and over and over. Please understand the rule:
One HBIT per day.
Once you use the Hivebits command, you are done. The bot will not give you another for 24 hours. Trying again, (and again and then again)...
- It does not give you another HBIT.
- It does waste some of Hivebits Resource Credits (RCs) by posting a message to the Discord hbit-log.
Please, only use the hivebits command once per day.
I think many users are thinking, "My hivebits command didn't go through," because they did not get any type of reply as a confirmation. This is because such reply-confirmations are not always on. When Resource Credits (RCs) are low, those replies are turned off. When RCs are replenished, they're turned back on.
The bot still works and mining continues...turning off the reply saves RCs so that mining can indeed go on.
Remember, if you use the command above, your mining request is recorded and it should go through. Even if the bot is currently down, it will catch your request when it's back online. Even without a reply-confirmation, you can monitor whether or not your daily HBIT came to you in a few ways:
- After allowing a little time, simply check your Hive-Engine wallet.
- Use a Hive-Engine explorer like option A or option B.
- Or, best, on Discord use the #hbit-log channel where you can see everything in real time.

No problem, I''ve done the same thing. Some people are doing like 4 or 5 calls in a row...that's very different than someone forgetting that they'd already done it that day and accidentally doing it twice. 🙂
I can see this can all be difficult to manage, but I think this limit is a good thing. Some of the other bots tell me how many I have left for the day, but I may still slip up and call them too often. All these extra comments can be a bit much, but I can't see another convenient way to do it.

I understand. To be clear, I'm not talking about someone who simply forgot if they did it today or yesterday or whatever. I've done it myself more than once. Some people are calling the bot like 4 or 5 times in a row, one after the other. That's not what you're talking about at all. 👍
Oh, I can understand some people will try to get more than you are offering. Best to just tell them once.
Speaking for myself, I do my best, but I find it hard to keep track. If it were the only thing I was keeping track of, this would be silly, but there are other things too, of course.
Some days, I get busy or distracted and miss the window. Other days, I am on Hive more often without realizing it.
I guess I will have to comb through my own comments to figure out when I call the hivebits or note it down. For other tokens, I rely on the message sent so that I know when it is 24 hours later. I frequently mess it up anyhow.
