RE: The Importance Of Positive Thinking - It Makes Life Better, Brighter & Beautiful

in #health7 years ago

an optimistic outlook will help deal with issues in a better manner.

It will be equally as useful to dealing with issues as pessimistic thinking.

The best way is to face truth head on, you can have a positive outlook but positive thinking itself isn't going to lift a finger or asses the situation better than realistic thinking.

Positive thinking helps you gain confidence and improves your overall mood, and it will allow you to worry less.

*Positive thinking will also cure cancer and stop rape. *

Let's be REAL for once, what is positive thinking, can you define it, or we will simply have to take your word for how it does all these miraculous things.

It is like a virus that will spread among your peers, creating a healthy conducive environment.

Is that a Freudian slip, using the word virus in the context of wellness and health? This amazing virus that gets rid of credit card debt.

The fact that you are positive will allow you to focus on good things, you'll be inclined to have happy thoughts and your outcomes will have a higher chance of being successful.

This is akin to the positive thinking fallacy (oops did i speak to soon?)

The Positive Thinking Fallacy: An immensely popular but deluded modern fallacy of logos, that because we are "thinking positively" that in itself somehow biases external, objective reality in our favor even before we lift a finger to act. See also, Magical Thinking. Note that this particular fallacy is often part of a much wider closed-minded, sometimes cultish ideology where the practitioner is warned against paying attention to to or even acknowledging the existence of "negative" evidence or counter-arguments against his/her standpoints. In the latter case rational discussion, argument or refutation is most often futile. See also, Deliberate Ignorance.

Your existence will be certainly more stress-free, and your thoughts become less burdensome.
By burdening yourself with "this is a negative thought I don't want to think this thought, stop it, more negativity, aww, now I'm self judging, I am the worst" you will be certainly more stress free and less burdensome than before your thoughts.

it is a personal opinion that not everyone needs to follow and will not be applicable to all situations. but yes in certain situations it helps to have a positive outlook than to think negatively. my article is not intended to cure cancer, it is meant for people to have a nice day and read something positive. life is hard enough!
