We all love ourselves too much. That's why children need to be taught to wait their turn, to share, to not hit their neighbor, and so on.
The idea that we don't love ourselves is a joke. Since everyone does what's in their own best interests.
That's why the Bible says,
(Philippians 2:4 NIV) Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others.
I feel you have took my post the wrong way. When you teach a child to love thy neighbor, you are teaching them love. If you don't have a teacher then it takes longer to learn. I'm pleased you had a good teacher.
I disagree with you there, friend. Have you read any of her previous posts? She speaks of growing up in a family that couldn't give a fuck about her. When you are brought into this world with a view that you aren't worth anything then you're going to think like that for the rest of your life
