RE: I am so proud: The Dutch are changing their law to "Everybody is organ donor, unless..."

To be honest i kind of like this idea. Many people die because they do not get the life saving organs they need, while the organs that could be used to save these people are wasted.

If you have the opportunity to opt-out? I guess I persoanally dont see any issue. When you are dead you cannot use your organs anyway :)
Might as well give someone a fighting chance..

I’m an voluntary organ donor, so i suppose you could say my opinion is somewhat biased!

Sort:

The opt-out option is always there! You can say in advance that you do not want to be in.
And when the moment turns out to be there, your family are still the ones saying yes or no.. So plenty of options still!

And yeah, I share your opinion, cant no anything with your organs while being dead, so might as well give em to somebody ill!
My opinion is same way biased, Im voluntarily and I also find it annoying that everybody wants organs but nobody is willing to donate them
