Bitcoin Fundraising

I believe we should always be focused on the strengths of cryptocurrency. One of the great advantages, even over philanthropy venture capital is that as a community, we have the ability to decide to invest in crypto--any coin really, and take the proceeds and fund health care for resource poor communities. It would be great to see people come together with a specific goal in mind and fund this through crypto investing--even a percentage of personal investment could make a huge difference to people in areas with poor health infastructures.
I was involved in the previous Ebola outbreak and just basic necessities which we in the West take for granted can be life saving. What better use to put a percentage of crypto toward than public health infastructure building. While this may be a difficult market at the moment, as things pick up and no doubt they will, the community should be considering philanthropic goals as an expression of the decentralized concept on which Bitcoin was originally based. Within the cryptocommunity, how can we support global health initiatives? Could cyrpto investment challenge major investors to consider developing funds to support health care on equal par with Welcome Trust and Gate Foundation? How can we come together as a community and ensure that actually, Satoshi concepts are translated into real applications? What better than supporting infastructure development in nations which would otherwise have no resources? As someone who was involved in the Sierra Leone Ebola outbreak the need is still significant--more so now that everyone has left--particularly the need for maternal health care. I would be interested in hearing from any crypto investors who think developing some kind of fund specifically with this in mind is a good idea. I'm new to Steemit but not to crypto or fundraising for public health.

An interesting and noble concept, but hard to trust. So much $ is spent to benefit drug companies and not to promote health.

Are you aware of how ozone treatments can quickly and inexpensively treat Ebola? Listen to this podcast with Dr. Robert Rowen and hear how politics drove the team out of West Africa where they were saving lives.

I have since recommended ozone treatments to a very sick friend with debilitating mold in his lungs. He went from bed-ridden for months to full of energy in 2 treatments!
