All parents' nightmare.. growth spurts and mental leaps.
During the stages of growth your baby will gain weight faster than usual. His/her length, head will be bigger. S/he will also have gained one of the key developmental stages or basic skills. Most mothers say that the most important indication that growing appetite. So be careful of your baby's feeding times.If your baby is breastfeeding, it will take longer than normal. If your baby feedbottles, you will see that they are still hungry after the bottle is empty.
Some babies also go through stages of growth without any symptoms. But you can see that some of the pants start to come short even in one night.
Your baby may begin to sleep more or less in normal growth than normal. Research has also shown that babies are more inclined to embrace and more upset at these stages. This can interrupt day and night sleep.
As a result, this can be a painful process because the bones are stretched.
The second type of the attacks are mental leaps. In those leaps, even most calm baby may go crazy because s/he is gaining mental skills. Both fine and thick motor skills evolve. There is a huge difference between before and after spurt. This will not be painless. But this time it seems pain is psychological. S/he may be needy, clingy and loose apetite, loose sleep routine.
There is nothing much to do in these stages except you should be there for him/her and be patient. Even be excited. All these suffering will worth something much more. You can see it in their eyes. One morning s/he will wake up and you will realize that s/he is not looking to you in the same way before. Also s/he will amaze you with the new skills that s/he learned so fast.
