I bike a lot (to and from uni/ work), and let me tell you that podcasts/ audiobooks helps a ton! otherwise i would have to focus on the beautiful scenic route, and who would like that?

But if cycling isn't for you, swimming is supposed to be really great for people with joint issues, as it doesn't stress any specific area of the body, as opposed to running. Good luck :)
