Live In The Now - Daily Boost

If you ever find yourself stuck dwelling over the past or worrying about the future try taking a deep breath and reciting to yourself:

"I do not live in the past or the future, I live in the now and the now is ok."

When we get mentally stuck in the past or the future it's like we are time travellers, fully immersed in that moment and reacting with real emotions that can be distressing. What happened in the past is gone and the future has not happened. Emotionally the most important time is the now and sometimes we just need to gently remind ourselves of that.

Please comment with any other tips you have for people who struggle with staying in the now 🙂.

Excellent post. Living in the now is so important. Another tip is to say to yourself 'whatever it is, 6months from now it won't matter'.
