5 - Which fruit is best suited for mixing?

The main thing fresh is the supreme rule. Otherwise, anything that tastes well is allowed. Kiwi, bananas, mango, raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, honeydew melon, pineapple and of course apples and oranges - the assortment is huge.
Important: If the fruits are fully ripe (but not overripe), the smoothies taste best.
In winter it is very easy to switch to frozen goods.
For most fruits, it is sufficient to cut them into coarse pieces before mixing. Only very firm or fibrous fruit must be cut particularly small so that the knives of the blender do not capitulate. You can also juice apples before mixing with the juicer or crush them on a kitchen grater.
Tip: Always enjoy smoothies directly after preparation and only store them in the refrigerator in an emergency. The longer the drink lasts, the more it loses important vitamins.
