Psoriasis can be simply defined as an autoimmune disorder where our skin cells grow rapidly compared to the normal ones.

psoralen UVA phototherapy(PUVA) is often prescribed by doctors where the drug psoralen should be administered orally with UV light therapy.
Other treatment options include the use of biologics where a specific part of the immune system is targeted. for example, Etanercept, infliximab etc.
