That's a new one to me. I've never heard of any in the medical field which said that chemotherapy only goes after the cancer cells, and not even on television.
Good news though is that some CEO's have recently resigned since President Trump;s speech about the pharmaceutical companies price gouging Americans while charging much cheaper prices to other countries and that that's going to stop. Besides other countries subsidising those drugs to that patients pay cheaper for drugs, that is not in all cases. Many of those drugs have been cheaper in price even without subsidies by those countries' governments.
We are looking forward to those cures which were hidden coming to the forefront, and the CEO's which lied to the public about cures they didn't have and cures they already have. Also, the more honest ones will be fast-tracked to allow them to bring their drugs on the market much sooner. Hopefully those drugs will be medicine and not mere poison.
The pharmaceutical companies have been getting away with free experiments on the public which they get because of government policy or laws on reporting side-effects. That side-effect can be a rash, head aches, or anything the drug is suspected of causing...including death.
