RE: Truth Seeking #1 Vaccines & the hidden agenda: a detailed examination of the facts

in #health7 years ago (edited)

It was frustrating trying to discuss this issue with Sam. It was like talking to a slippery wall. But people should be warned that anti-vax nonsense is dangerous. Here's two more. Somehow the above post was made twice, the result of Steemit being slow. So now I have to respond twice!
But now Steemit is working fast! Yay!

Appeals to BS sources will never replace understanding the actual chemistry and physics surrounding this subject.

Please educate yourself and cease to spread disinformation and misinformation.

"What you might not realize is that these vaccination campaigns for flu and other diseases are about much more than your health. They’re about achieving a collective resistance to disease that goes beyond individual well-being — and that is governed by mathematical principles unforgiving of unwise individual choices."

"There is no scientific evidence to suggest that vaccines do more harm than good."

Herd immunity is just another failed argument used to manipulate people into believing the lies. The failure of this argument is obvious when viewed in the context of diseases moving through populations that have been fully vaccinated for the very disease which continues to spread from vaccinated individual to vaccinated individual.

There are methods which are better, safer, and cheaper to control spread of diseases. This religious fanaticism surrounding pro-vaccination and pro-mandatory vaccination is part of what keeps people from learning about these methods.

This argument is over. Vaccination does not work as advertised. It was a failure from the beginning. Vaccination is dangerous and unnecessary. Look at the timeline, including the widespread adoption of sanitation, hygiene, and nutrition, and the diseases, for which there are no vaccines, which declined in occurrence at the same time.

Using guilt, appeals from authority, appeals to emotion, and so on, are not logical or useful arguments. If you understood this subject, rather than just the propaganda you've consumed, you would not need so many fallacious citations. Appeal to popularity and genetic fallacy does not a sound argument make.

As I asked Sam, how can anyone believe that the polio and smallpox vaccines didn't work? Polio and smallpox were eradicated by vaccines. Sam replied that polio just "naturally declined" and the vaccine had nothing to do with it. He said he would provide links proving that, and never did. Because it's a ridiculous statement.

This is a great documentary on the history of the polio vaccine. Of course Sam said the BBC is in league with Big Pharma. lol

How can anyone believe that the polio and small pox vaccines DID work, except if they fell victim to the propaganda of historical anecdotal 'evidence'?

Vaccines actually caused more of these diseases, and more, than they ever prevented. You are the king of citation, why don't you do some unbiased research, instead of cherry picking only that with which you agree? Try to prove yourself wrong and see what you find. The information is out there, I found it, and so have others. If I were getting paid to hold every doubter's hand all the way to the truth, then I would, but the fact is I'm not, and I've lost any altruism that I once had.

So, keep taking your vaccinations, and see where that takes you, but if mandatory vaccinators ever come to force me into compliance, I'll defend myself, and the pro-mandatory vaccinators will have more to worry about than diseases that can be prevented by sanitation, hygiene, and nutrition.

"If you got the polio vaccine, you were protected; if you didn’t, you were not. When you have that kind of data, you just can’t say that the disappearance of polio is due to other things. What strikes me is—I don’t know quite how to put this, but it’s like there’s an epidemic of misinformation, and we’ve got to inoculate the public against it."

If you are suffering from an infection of misinformation, I suggest you get right on the remedy for that.

I don't need The Huffington post and The Atlantic to tell me what I already know to be false.

The polio lie was one of the first that I found to be false, then small pox, and then herd immunity. After that, the facade simply crumbled.
