Here are some common bad habits you may not even realize you have.

1. Skipping out on the Most Important Meal of the Day

Many argue that there is not one meal of the day that is most important but I beg to differ.

While I do agree that all of the meals throughout the day are important and shouldn’t be skipped, I think breakfast is the most important because it defines how you start your day.

If you are skipping the first meal of the day, your metabolism will is missing out on the kick-start it needs in the morning to burn calories throughout the day.

You may think you can lose weight faster by skipping meals but the opposite is actually true.

The more you eat throughout the day, the faster your metabolism will burn which will lead to some serious weight loss.

According to Web MD :

Many studies have linked eating breakfast to good health, including better memory and concentration, lower levels of “bad” LDL cholesterol, and lower chances of getting diabetes, heart disease, and being overweight.”

2. Not Having an Outlet to Relieve Stress

There should not no shame in admitting that you get stressed out sometimes.

Everyone gets stressed at some point. It could be because of something that happened at work, or going on in your family/love life etc.

One of the easiest and best ways to get rid of stress? Yoga.

According to Mayo Clinic:

“Yoga is a mind-body practice that combines physical poses, controlled breathing, and meditation or relaxation. Yoga may help reduce stress, lower blood pressure and lower your heart rate.”

If Yoga isn't your thing, other ways you can get rid of stress and anxiety is by meditating, exercising, or simply doing something you love like taking the time to sit down and read a good book.

3. Not Sleeping Enough

Everyone is guilty of staying out too late every now and then. However, if this has become a daily habit for you, it’s time to drop that habit and realize just how much your body needs proper amount of sleep.

The Sleep Foundation confirms this, stating how:

Sleep is a vital indicator of overall health and well-being. You should be getting at least eight hours of sleep each night for a healthy life

If any of these three habits are a part of your daily routine, you need to get rid of them as soon as possible.

You deserve so much better! So stop skipping breakfast, do things that make you happy and stress free, and get those eight hours of sleep each night :)

What daily habits are you working to get rid of?

Sort:

I think stress is one of the biggest problems.
You have stress in the moring because youre late
-> no breakfast
At work everthing does not work how it should like
-> stress
Work + Family + Friends = no sleep

There should be a way to easily reduce pressure in every part of your life.
You need to be at full power everytime, there is no time to relax!

Have a nice day!

@flash4yard- tell me about it! can't count on one hand the amount of times i skipped breakfast because i had a bus to catch lol there should be an easy solution to all this stress, but there isn't! It really is trial and error and seeing what works best for you :) have a good day as well!

Currently I am going to school. So its very confortable.
It was a guess by me that stress is a very common thing. Sometimes there is so much to do and you dont know where to start...
