More fat without reducing on the sugars, wheats and starches will just result in getting fatter.
It's a condition of being insulinemic that the body will store the fats that you eat. Without lowering the high input of carbohydrates and reducing the amount of insulin in your blood, you're basically paving the way to death's door.
Diabetes and high blood sugar isn't the problem however.
Hyperinsulinemia (the condition of insulinemic all the time) is the root cause of diabetes and so many other problems. That's why treating high blood sugar with insulin never eventuates in a better outcome for the patient.
Hey, but at least you've got low blood sugar, right? So there's that. Yay, you! And you're doctor can pat him/herself on the back. Job well done doc, sure, your patient is dead, but they died with low BG levels. Good work!
Studies have shown that it's often times actually a far far worse outcome, much sooner than if you'd just let the high blood sugar run amok. Many published studies that they've not even bothered to refute, they're just ignoring them.

One Idea is Change Your Diet
As example if you consume more fat (as it does not increase insulin), but satisfies you at the same time. Over time the body will normalize. Get more active and get serious about your own health!
Yeah, I was just saying that the increase in fats while insulinemic isn't a great idea. It causes the problem to exacerbate. High Carb, High Fat doesn't work. You need to reduce carbs, whilst increasing fats.
