UK Vaccine Passports Abandoned? Not Likely, Flip-Flop Imminent

in #health3 years ago

In recent days, we have been hearing reports that the UK Government will scrap 'Vaccine Passports'.

From BBC News just yestrday:

Plans to introduce vaccine passports for access into nightclubs and large events in England will not go ahead, the health secretary has said. - BBC News[1]

Wow, great news, our freedom has been protected! Well, not quite. Since when has any statement made by the UK Government in the past 18 months aligned with what they actually do? (feel free to write your answers on the back of a postcard and send them over).

Secondly, this is not what was said by the UK health secretary Sajid Javid, what he actually said was:

"We've looked at it properly and, whilst we should keep it in reserve as a potential option, I'm pleased to say that we will not be going ahead with plans for vaccine passports...." - BBC News[1]

Which translated means, "We are not implementing vaccine passports just yet".

This is the same old tactic they've used throughout the pandemic. First come the warnings in the press of some dreadful new protocol to be rolled out, then comes the political discussion, then the "We won't do that, we are British..... bla, bla" statement of of No. 10, finished with a total flip-flop and roll out of the original said dreadful protocol just months, if not weeks later.

The BBC are already joining in with the fun using psychological posts about those who will continue to have to live in fear because vaccine passports have been 'scrapped'.

BBC News reports:

Laith Alobaidi tells Radio 1 Newsbeat the lack of a vaccine passport is "another blow to sick and disabled people, the most clinically vulnerable to Covid".

The 26-year-old lives withCrohn's Disease, and due to the medication he takes to manage his health, he's highly immunocompromised and clinically extremely vulnerable. - BBC News[2]

After several stories from 'the most vulnerable' and how they will just have to continue to lock themselves up, we have one story of an unvaccinated healthy woman who is relieved that the vaccine passports have been 'scrapped':

But the change of heart on vaccine passports could come as a relief to people like Izzy Lock, who has chosen not to have the vaccine.

"I'm a healthy 27 year old girl", she tells Newsbeat.

"Although the risks are small, I'd rather not risk it at all.....,I think people shouldn't be penalised for having a choice of what they put inside their body.....Clubbing and attending to Arsenal every so often are two things that I enjoy, so I wouldn't really have a choice."" - BBC News[2]

The desired reaction of course to this last healthy unvaccinated lady is of course - 'Selfish Bitch'.

What these 'most vulnerable' cannot seem to understand, primarily because they are being deceived by the health agencies and brainwashed by the media, is that vaccine passports have no benefit to them.

A vaccinated person is still a potential spreader of the virus, this is true of the influenza vaccines, this is true of the measles vaccines and this is more true than ever with the COVID-19 vaccines.

Herd immunity using these COVID-19 vaccines does not work. If you are unfamiliar with the concept of herd immunity, then it is this idea that by having a large proportion of a population immune to a pathogen (typically above 85%), those who are unable to receive the vaccine because they are immune compromised are protected by the herds immunity.

However, if the Herd is still infectious than we've achieved nothing, well, it could be argued we've made it worse for the vulnerable as now we have wolves in sheep's clothing among the herd. The vulnerable will believe they are safe because someone is vaccinated, and yet they may well not be.

What is worse, symptoms are reduced in the vaccinated. So while the unvaccinated have the usual symptoms of a coronavirus, visibly warning themselves and others that 'maybe, they should keep away', the vaccinated often will have little to no symptoms but spreading SARS-COV-2 all over the place.

I found this statement from a BBC article written back in February rather surprising:

In fact, most vaccines don't fully protect against infection, even if they can block symptoms from appearing. As a result, vaccinated people can unknowingly carry and spread pathogens. Occasionally, they can even start epidemics. - BBC News[3]

Surprising becuase it's published by the BBC, though you are unlikely to see any reference to that remark admist the height of the vaccine roll out, facts and honesty have been firmly swept under the rug.

Vaccine Passports, or to be more accurate, Health Passports have been on the cards for society for some time, long before this pandemic even began. I covered the various implementations of this being developed around the World in an article entitled 'Your Freedom is on the Brink of Extinction'[4] back in February last year.

Yes, the UK Government have 'shelved' vaccine passports for now, but do not think for a second they won't be introduced in the near future. I'd be extremely surprised if we do not see them implemented this side of Christmas.
