After the Journey to Un'Goro, Hearthstone's next expansion is going to be released in July 2017, and some changes have already been announced.
The last update revealed is about upcoming card pack changes ! Good news for players spending their time opening boosters ! Here's what is going to be improved:
No more duplicate Legendary
Every time you open a Legendary in a card pack (lucky you!), it will be a card that you don't already own. In other words, there won't be any duplicate Legendary anymore. Once you've crafted or obtained a certain card, it isn't possible to obtain it again.
In addition, you won't be sad when opening a booster and discovering that you've received "Armorsmith" once more, knowing that you've already opened three booster with one copy of this card in them. Good news is: it will no longer be possible to open more than 2 of a common, rare, or epic card out of a single card pack. The purpose here is to prevent people from opening more copies of any card in a pack than they can use in a single deck!
Even more Legendary
Great news for the unlucky boosters' openers: you will get a guaranteed Legendary within the first 10 card packs of a new set.
Special Promotion
In the next few days, you might be tempted to open special pack bundles to complete your desks. We're having a special limited time promotion for the current expansion. The price stays the same, but you receive more packs!

Just a reminder: don't forget that you are able to complete quests in Friendly Challenges now, and you are also able to easily copy and share decklists with Deck Importing.
