Genesis 19:15-17

Lot and his daughers source

It happened at dawn. The messengers (malachim) came to wake Lot and urge him yet again to escape. The text says that Lot lingered, so they grabbed him by the hand, and grabbed his wife by the hand, and grabbed his daughters by the hand, and took them outside the city. Then they said it one last time.

Escape. Don't stop and don't look back.

When someone with authority tells you something, you need to listen and do all that they say. You are free not to, but there will be consequences.

The story continues next week as we read on.

Thank you for visiting! Read with me as we unfold the story of Sodom as Lot entertains visitors. We also have a short clip from the Hebrew film dubbed in English. Click the video link below.

Thank you, as always interesting and informative.

Un relato que enseña cosas importantes para nosotros en nuestro tiempo. Y como usted menciona cuando alguien con autoridad nos dice algo (instrucción) es importante escuchar y hacer (obedecer). "When someone with authority tells you something, you need to listen and do all that they say".

Gracias por su post.
