English writer and critic who lived between 1709-1784 and mostly famous for it's Dictionary of English Language which he spent 8 years to finish and was the most important and extensive English dictionary of that time.
He is known mostly as "Dr. Johnson" due to his biography "Life of Samuel Johnson" written by John Boswell who deeply respected him after their 3 months of trip to Scothland. After this trip, they have written The Journal of a Tour to the Hebrides.
