A forest, named Belgrad Forest and located in the European side of Istanbul, is available for the public who want to get rid of the crowd and complexity of Istanbul and is a very convenient and beautiful place to camp.
I recommend camping in the inner parts or by the lake after 10-15 minutes walk from the entrance of the forest. It is quiet and calm because there are fewer people compared to the entrance.
