Hi, today let's talk about this wonderful state in West Africa, Nigeria. It is known as Abia State and it is located in the south eastern part of Nigeria. It has quite a number of cities with it's capital known as Umuahia but the city with the largest reputation due to it's outstanding companies and constructions is that known as Aba City.
Now, Aba city is known for it's commercial expertise but that will be gist for another article. Well, Abia State was created out of the Eastern Heartland also known as Imo State in the year 1991 and it is also among the States that make up the Niger Delta region.
The state is a bit of a large state as it occupies about a kilometre of 6,320 squares, and in the north, it is bordered by the other Igbo states which includes Anambra, Ebonyi and Enugu. Now, looking forward to the western side of Abia State, you would see it shares boundary with Imo State which it was carved out from. Also, it is bordered by Cross River State and Akwa Ibom State to the east and southeast respectively and finally, the famous oil well, Rivers State is in the South border.
Their are two important rivers in Abia State and they include the Imo and Aba Rivers and these are in a way that they flow right into the Atlantic Ocean but not directly as they have to still go through another River in Akwa Ibom State before they get there.
The State has good food, roads and also some beautiful tourists site and they are famous for their hospitality.
