**Hecate and New Moon. **
The New Moon is the beginning of the lunar month. Symbolic Birth of the Moon. On these days, the sun is conjunct the moon and it is not visible in the sky. The moon is not visible 2 days before the new moon and another 2 days after. These days are called the days of Hecate.
